when the soil feels dry water it.and you can put it in direct sunlight .but make sure you don't over water it .stick your finger in the soil about 1/2 inch if the soil is dry water it if it is moist leave it alone aloe plants don't require alot of watering about every 2 weeks.

Reply:i lived in greece for 11 yrs and aloe vera was keep outside and mostly grew wild so hardly any water and full sun
