My indoor plant has little white bugs, i think, on the undersides of the leaves. What do i do?

They look almost like they are part of the leaf, but i can scrape them off and they leave a spot. if left on they form a hole in the leaf. it is starting to spread to my other plants. i have washed the leaves with soapy water twice and the plant is in the sun outside now. also, some of the new growth is deformed. how do i save my plants?

More than likely you have mealy bugs. If you have older plants you have kept from last year they just develop them or you may have brought them in from a new crop. They are very annoying and will eventually kill your plants if you do not kill them.

When we get them in our greenhouses we use a chemical we buy in bulk, I have never bought one for just a few plants so I am not sure what to tell you to buy.

Good luck at killing them!
Reply:They are aphids. below is a website on how to control them.
Reply:These are aphids. They will suck the life out of your plant. The leaves will ruin. You need to mix a spray of warm water with one squirt of dish soap and one small drop of a light cooking oil. Take the plant outside where you can spray it till the leaves literally drop with water. Get the back of the leaves very well. Do this again in a couple weeks and they will go away. They are a pest.
